Terry Milner was a garment manufacturer before he was a garment services provider. He started this business in 1978 because he kept running into the same problem his customers face today - imported stock that wasn't ready for the shop floor and no one in the UK set up to fix it properly.
That manufacturing heritage still runs through everything we do. We understand garment construction, fabric behaviour and finishing standards because we come from the same world as the people who make the clothes. It's why we can look at a quality control problem and know immediately what it takes to put it right.
Terry Milner created our business to support his own garment manufacturing company as he recognised the need for a UK based support centre for pre-retail issues affecting imported stock. Due to our manufacturing heritage we have an extensive understanding of garment structure and technology.
We have a thorough knowledge of the quality control of all major clothing retailers. We can also advise on the work content and quality required of each retailer to remedy stock before it can be released into retail circulation.
We handle pressing, rectification, labelling, QC inspection, ozone cleaning, pick and pack, and warehousing - the full range of pre-retail services. Whether it's a long-term contract or an emergency turnaround, we have the capacity and the experience to deliver.
Our NSI gold rated secure purpose built facility is designed to process 100,000 garments per week. With the latest machinery and partially automated production line we are able to minimise handling and produce a quality service at a competitive price.
Discretion is built into how we work. We operate from an NSI gold-rated secure facility and our clients trust us with their stock, their deadlines and their reputations. That's been the basis of every client relationship we've had for nearly five decades.
